Overview 
The seminar is designed to expose and analyze the insidious interference of the tobacco industry in policy-making, public health initiatives, and sustainable development agendas. By focusing on industry tactics and their implications for governance and public welfare, this seminar will equip the audience with critical insights and tools to identify and counteract tobacco industry interference. 


The panelists will dwell upon the following questions: 
1. How interference exacerbates vulnerabilities in governance and public health systems? 
2. What techniques are used for tracking industry interference, including transparency 
initiatives? 
3. What steps are there to adapt FCTC article 5.3 in order to protect policies from industry 
influence;

Educate: Introduce students to the various tactics of tobacco industry interference, including lobbying, litigation, and misinformation campaigns.

sustainable development policies.
